Three minors were reported injured after their car was peppered with bullets in an apparent a drive-by shooting near a mall in the southern city of Eilat on Saturday night.
A 15-year-old boy was in critical condition, and two girls, aged 10 and eight, were in moderate condition.
The three victims were rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
Police were at the scene and opened an investigation into the incident, which they suspected was a botched underworld hit. There were no immediate arrests made.
The three youngsters are the children of the intended target, Army Radio reported late Saturday.

On Friday night, a 30-year-old man was stabbed in front of a nearby shopping center. The victim received medical care at the city’s local hospital and was in stable condition.
It was unclear whether there was any connection between the two attacks.
