3-year-old girl dies after being hit by car in Tiberias
Despite resuscitation efforts, toddler declared dead shortly after arrival at Poriya Hospital

A 3-year-old girl was killed Sunday after she was hit by a car on Hashomer Street in Tiberias.
She was rushed by paramedics to the city’s Poriya Hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival.
“Our efforts to revive the 3-year-old girl who was critically injured tonight in a car accident in Tiberias have failed,” the hospital said. “She arrived with no vital signs while receiving CPR. Resuscitation efforts continued for many minutes, to our great sorrow, without success. We join the family in their grief.”
At the end of last week, four people died in separate car accidents across the country.
Also on Sunday, Nahariya Hospital declared the death of a 3-year-old boy who was found in a swimming pool in a Western Galilee hotel on Friday.
