Bomb Gaza, Vice PM’s wife says

Judy Nir Mozes-Shalom, a journalist and socialite and the wife of Vice Prime Minister Silvan Shalom, tweeted controversial comments on Sunday and Monday regarding rocket fire from the Gaza Strip.
“Have a good week,” she tweeted on Sunday. “I hope that today they decide to destroy Gaza if they don’t stop shooting. Let them suffer as well.”
On Monday, Nir Mozes-Shalom followed up that statement with: “It’s not fair that we’re sleeping here in silence and a million people down south live under fire! We need to bomb Gaza.”

972 Magazine criticized Mozes-Shalom, describing her tweets as “a call for a massacre, if not an outright genocide.”
Nir Mozes-Shalom is the daughter of Noah Mozes, the late owner of Yedioth Ahronoth, and the sister of Arnon Mozes, the paper’s current publisher. She is a leading Israeli socialite and hosts a talk show on Israel Radio.
Her comments came amid rising conflict along Israel’s southern border with Gaza, as rocket fire and air force strikes have intensified.
