UN censures killing, appeals for calm

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon also condemns the killing of an Arab teen in Jerusalem Wednesday, calling on the sides “to ensure that tensions do not escalate further, leading to more loss of life.”
Ban “calls for the perpetrators of this despicable act to be promptly brought to justice. He expresses his deepest condolences to the family of the victim,” a statement from his spokesperson reads.
