750,000 Israelis visit national parks, forests
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAs the Passover holiday nears its close, the Jewish National Fund says 750,000 people visited the country’s forests and national parks during the past week — 300,000 went to sites in the north, approximately 400,000 visited the center of the country, and 50,000 visitors toured the south of Israel.
The JNF said 450 tons of garbage were collected from the country’s parks.
