CENTCOM says US forces destroyed Houthi UAV over the Red Sea in the past day
US Central Command (CENTCOM) says that in the past day, its forces destroyed a Houthi-operated unmanned aerial vehicle over the Red Sea.
“It was determined the UAV presented an imminent threat to U.S. and coalition forces, and merchant vessels in the region,” CENTCOM writes on X. “These actions were taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure.”
