Herzog reportedly wooing Peres for support
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleChannel 2 reports that Zionist Union leader Isaac Herzog is trying to convince former president Shimon Peres to pull his weight behind Herzog’s campaign. According to the report, which was based on anonymous sources, officials in Zionist Union told Herzog recruiting Peres would actually be counterproductive and may hurt the party.
Herzog in response says “I am not dealing with this, these reports are sheer nonsense.”
