IDF soldier critically injured in Rafah fighting yesterday

A soldier with the 401st Armored Brigade’s 9th Battalion was critically injured amid fighting yesterday in the southern Gaza Strip, the IDF announces.

The soldier was wounded in a Hamas-claimed sniper attack in the Rafah area.

He was evacuated to receive medical treatment and his family has been updated, the military adds.
