The Palestinian Authority health ministry says that 17-year-old Karim Shalaldeh has died of his wounds after being shot earlier in the area of the village of Sa’ir, north of Hebron.

As previously reported, a media outlet affiliated with the settler movement claimed that ultra-Orthodox hikers were pelted with stones by Palestinians and that a member of the security forces who arrived at the scene opened fire at a stone thrower.

The IDF said earlier that the incident was under review and later said a member of the security forces opened fire in the incident.
