Police chief: Investigation of Arab teen’s death ongoing
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleJerusalem police chief Yossi Parienti says police are still investigating the death of an East Jerusalem resident whose body was found in the Jerusalem Forest earlier today.
“We have not yet been able to determine if the motive [for the killing] was nationalistic or criminal,” Parienti says. “We are investigating every possibility.”
The police chief also asks the public to “exercise restraint, refrain from reaching conclusions and wait for new developments in the investigation.”
“We have to act responsibly now,” he says.
