Scissor-wielding Palestinian teen slams cop for shooting her

The 16-year-old Palestinian girl who, along with her 14-year-old cousin, stabbed a 70-year-old Palestinian man in central Jerusalem this week, says she will file a complaint against a policeman for shooting her, Channel 10 reports.

“She asked me to come with her to Jaffa street,” she says of her cousin. “I didn’t plan on hurting anyone, suddenly she took out scissors and scratched someone who was there. I didn’t understand what she was doing. People starting screaming ‘terrorist’ and I was afraid they would attack me, so I took out scissors to protect myself. Suddenly they shot me and I was hit with a chair and I lost consciousness.”

Her 14-year-old cousin was shot dead on the scene.
