Spain, Slovenia, Ireland ask EU to suspend Association Agreement with Israel
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleBRUSSELS, Belgium — Spain, Slovenia, and Ireland have asked the EU to discuss the suspension of its association treaty with Israel, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares says ahead of a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg.
“Spain, along with Slovenia and Ireland, has requested that the suspension of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Israel be discussed and debated today,” Albares says.
