Lufthansa extends suspension of flights to Israel until March 22

Lufthansa has extended the suspension of flights to and from Dubai and Abu Dhabi through Tuesday and to and from Tel Aviv until March 22 inclusive, while those to and from Tehran will not take place until May 1 due to the situation in the Middle East, the airline group says.

“The Lufthansa Group continuously monitors and assesses the security situation in the Middle East and is in close contact with the authorities,” it says in a statement.

In addition, flights have also been suspended to and from the Cypriot city of Larnaca; Beirut, Amman; and Iraq’s Erbil until later dates in March.
