Theatron: Jerusalem’s premier luxury residences – the pinnacle of elegance and comfort
The new Jerusalem residence invites residents to participate in the art of living, whether that includes a quiet residential experience, hotel amenities, or cultural immersion in the holy city
Imagine the comfort of home paired with the luxury of a five-star hotel. Welcome to Theatron Residence, a unique blend of upscale living, premium hospitality, and all the amenities of a five-star hotel. It’s designed to make everyday living feel like a relaxing getaway.
Pronounced “te-aht-rohn,” which means theater in Hebrew, Theatron Hotel & Residences invites residents to participate in the art of living. For some, that includes enjoying the quiet of the residential Talbieh neighborhood. Or it might mean pampering oneself in the pool, gym, spa, or other hotel amenities. Other adventures lie in the vast cultural and culinary experiences just steps away in the world’s holiest city.
Israeli developer Achim Hasid specializes in creating living experiences rather than simply living spaces. The family-owned company has been developing real estate in Jerusalem for more than 50 years and has gained a reputation for revolutionizing luxury living that incorporates the city’s culture while upholding the highest building quality and craftsmanship. Theatron promises to maintain those meticulous standards.
A blend of comfort and elegance
Theatron’s unique design combines function and beauty to create modern living spaces. Developed by world-class architects, the buildings use geometrically shaped skylights and windows to cast playful rays of light and shadows in common areas, along with other eclectic textures, patterns, and materials on the walls and ceilings. The exotic design plays on the traditional Jerusalem style with a modern, luxurious twist.
The complex includes both a hotel and three private residential buildings of four floors each. There are 21 large residences with about four bedrooms each, 72 boutique hotel rooms, including two suites, 24 rental suits, and two presidential suites. Residents have access to all the hotel common areas and facilities.
Sitting above a pine tree grove, the entire complex offers panoramic views of southern Jerusalem with several seating areas positioned for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful nature and landscaping.
Achim Hasid worked with premier Israeli interior designer Alejandra Oren who is known for combining functionality and luxury in homes across the country. Israeli interior architect Ari Shaltiel curated fixtures and finishes for the buildings. Both interior experts are available to advise and aid residents in finishing their own spaces in harmony with the overall design.
Access to culture and fine dining
Jerusalem’s unique landscape interweaves residential with cultural areas throughout the city. One of the perks of Theatron’s location is its residential surroundings and proximity to landmarks. For example, Theatron’s residences are quiet, seemingly removed from city life, but they are also just a 30-minute walk from the Old City.
Theatron’s location is right on the edge of two historical neighborhoods, the German Colony and Old Katamon, and across from the Jerusalem theater. It’s also on the route known as the “Cultural Kilometer,” which stretches from the Museum of Islamic Art to the First Station, a hub for cultural events, restaurants, and entertainment. Along the Cultural Kilometer sits quaint sidewalk cafes, bike paths, and a scenic cable car ride to the Western Wall.
It’s not hard for residents to find their community within the city. Aside from the dining options, and colorful neighborhoods, there is a vibrant Anglo community for Olim and multiple shuls in the area to accommodate any religious affiliation or tradition.
The art of living
When surrounded by the cultural and artistic beauty of Jerusalem, it is only fitting that life in this atmosphere imitates art. So far, residents have found the art of living in Theatron to live up to its promise.
