Woman dies in car crash near northern town; suspect surrenders after Lod hit-and-run
Two men also wounded in crash near Arraba; man hit by vehicle while riding electric scooter in Rishon Lezion, is seriously hurt

A woman was killed and two others were injured Saturday in a two-car collision on Route 804 near the northern town of Arraba.
Paramedics at the scene provided initial treatment to the woman, 59, before taking her to Poriya Hospital in Tiberias, according to the Magen David Adom ambulance.
She arrived without vital signs and, despite their efforts, doctors were forced to declare her dead, the hospital said in a statement.
A man in his 20s listed in light to moderate condition and a man in his 60s in moderate to serious condition were also brought to the medical center for treatment.
According to the latest data from the National Road Safety Authority, 196 people have died in car crashes in Israel this year.
Meanwhile, police said they arrested a man in his 30s suspected of killing a cyclist in his 20s, in a hit-and-run in Lod Friday night.
Police said the man turned himself in within a few hours of the incident, Authorities will ask he remain in custody during a remand hearing Saturday night at the Rishon Lezion District Court.
Also Saturday, a man in his 20s was seriously injured after he was hit by a passing vehicle while riding an electric scooter in the central city of Rishon Lezion.
Medics found the man semi-conscious with wounds to his head and limbs, according to an MDA statement.
He was taken to Shamir Medical Center for treatment.
