As a 7.4 magnitude earthquake hits Colombia, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar offers his Colombian counterpart Omar Bula “any assistance that Israel can provide.”
“Israel is prepared to assist Colombia as much as required,” writes Sa’ar on X.
Last month, Israel sent an aid delegation for three weeks to earthquake-stricken Venezuela.
Sa’ar was in Colombia last week for the inauguration of its new government, which says it will “renew a strategic alliance with the State of Israel,” open an embassy in Jerusalem, and “defend the Judeo-Christian principles that form the foundation of Western civilization.”
