Danon tells Security Council it’s time to ‘reassess’ UNRWA’s mandate
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleSpeaking at a UN Security Council session on the role of UNRWA, Israel’s Ambassador Danny Danon says it is time to “reassess” the Palestinian refugee organization’s mandate.
The UN envoy says the organization should have stated objectives and they should match the reality on the ground.
Danon claims UNRWA “has succeeded in inciting violence against state of Israel.”
