Hamas spokesman denies prisoner swap in works: ‘An election ploy by Netanyahu’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleHamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem denies Hebrew media reports of an emerging prisoner exchange deal between Hamas and the Israeli government.
“This is a ploy by Netanyahu to enhance his personal stature in any expected Zionist elections. This Zionist media talk has no basis in truth,” Qassem says.
“Netanyahu is still evading a decision in this issue, and is manipulating the feelings of the families of the captured soldiers,” Qassem says.
