Hezbollah claims civilians killed in earlier Israeli strike targeting its operatives

Iran-backed Hezbollah accuses Israel of a “flagrant” ceasefire breach, saying it launched a drone and killed three civilians in southern Lebanon.

The terrorist group says the strike was a “direct attack” on “civilians,” after Lebanon’s health ministry reported three people were killed in a strike on a car in Mayfadoun — without identifying them. The Israel Defense Forces earlier said five Hezbollah operatives were killed in the strike. The reason for the discrepancy between the figures isn’t immediately clear.

Hezbollah says it was the third “flagrant violation” by Israel “of the ceasefire to which it has committed itself so far.”
