IDF says troops shoot dead gunman who opened fire at them from across Lebanon border

The Israel Defense Forces says a gunman who opened fire at forces near the northern town of Margaliot on the Lebanon border this morning was killed in a new exchange of fire in the area a short while ago.
The IDF says the suspect arrived at Margaliot this morning and opened fire at reservist forces, seriously wounding one.
He then fled the area, and following a lengthy chase, he was shot dead, the IDF adds.
It remains unclear if the gunman infiltrated into Israel from Lebanon.
