Iran ready for ‘all scenarios’ after Trump threats, senior official says
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIran is prepared for all possibilities in its war with the United States and Israel, First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref says, following threats from US President Donald Trump.
“National security and infrastructure sustainability are the subject of our precise calculations. The government has finalized the necessary measures in detail for all scenarios. No threat is beyond our preparedness and intelligence,” Aref says in a post on X.
Trump threatened that “a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again,” if Iran doesn’t agree to his demands for reopening the Strait of Hormuz by 8 p.m. EST.
