Islamic Jihad leader, five family members killed
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePalestinian news outlet Ma’an reports that Islamic Jihad leader Hafiz Hamad and five members of his family were killed in an air raid just after midnight early Wednesday.
The strike targeted Hamad’s home in the northern Gaza Strip. Gazan health ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra says six members of the same family were killed in the strike.
The raid brings the Gazan death toll to at least 24, including seven people killed in a strike on a house earlier Tuesday that a number of civilians attempted to protect with a human shield.
