Israeli national arrested in Thailand on suspicion of operating unlicensed daycare — report

An Israeli national and a Romanian national have been arrested in Koh Phangan on suspicion of operating an unlicensed daycare center on the Thai island, according to local media outlet The Thaiger.

The Israeli national, identified by the outlet as Ziv Radomsky, is reportedly the owner of the unlicensed Little Panda daycare, and Romanian national Meda Andreea Capilna is suspected of working there without a permit.

Forty-two children with foreign citizenship between the ages of two and six were found to be enrolled in the daycare, according to The Thaiger.

The raid on the unlicensed institution took place on July 4, after police received a tip about foreign nationals operating an illegal business in the area, the report adds.
