Israeli soldiers accidentally fire on Israeli crop-duster flying over Golan
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsraeli troops open fire on a crop-dusting plane flying over the Golan Heights, mistaking it for an infiltrating aircraft, the army says.
“Once they realized it was a civilian Israeli aircraft, they stopped firing,” the military says in a statement.
“This was a serious incident that is being investigated. Lessons will be learned.”
No one is hurt in the incident.
