In a development that could send many coalition members into quarantine, the ruling Likud party’s faction manager, Aliza Barashi, has tested positive for the coronavirus, Hebrew-language media reports.

Barashi is in charge of coordinating the coalition’s votes in the Knesset plenum.

She meets regularly with many lawmakers and spends long periods of time in the Knesset plenum.

MKs have reportedly been told that Barashi was last at the Knesset on Monday and that those who need to isolate will be notified.
