Palestinian man injured in settler attack in South Hebron Hills – reports; 2 more wounded after settlers said to open fire near homes in Jenin area
A Palestinian man is injured after extremist Israeli settlers attacked a village in the West Bank’s South Hebron Hills, according to Palestinian media reports.
According to the WAFA news agency, citing local activists, a man named Saeed al-Amour was “severely assaulted” by settlers during a raid on the hamlet of Khirbet al-Rakiz, in the Masafer Yatta area, earlier this afternoon.
He was taken to a local hospital by Palestinian Red Crescent medics for treatment, the report says.
A video of the incident posted to social media shows a settler beating the apparently elderly, handicapped Palestinian man with a metal stick.
