Poll: 46% of UK Muslims support Hamas, only 1 in 4 believe terrorists committed atrocities on October 7
Just one in four Muslims in the UK believe that Hamas terrorists committed murder and rape in Israel on October 7, according to a British poll.
The survey, cited by the Daily Telegraph, also finds that 46 percent of British Muslims support the Palestinian terror group.
Commissioned by London-based think tank the Henry Jackson Society, the poll comes on the six month anniversary of Hamas’s October 7 massacre, which saw some 3,000 terrorists burst across the border into Israel, killing some 1,200 people and seizing 253 hostages, mostly civilians, amid horrific acts of brutality and sexual assault.
In terms of UK government policy, the survey finds that almost half (46%) of British Muslims believe Jews have too much power. By way of comparison, only 16% of the general public agrees with this sentiment.
HJS polling has found only 1/4 British Muslims believe that Hamas committed murder and rape in Israel on Oct 7.
