Qatar emir, Pakistan PM discuss US-Iran talks and regional security, statement says
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleQatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discussed regional developments and ongoing US-Iran talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, with both leaders stressing the need for diplomacy to reduce tensions and protect maritime security, Qatar’s Amiri Diwan says in a statement.
During a phone call, the two leaders underscored their commitment to coordinating on regional security, safeguarding maritime routes and ensuring lasting peace in the region.
