Emanuel (Mannie) Fabian is The Times of Israel's military correspondent

Rescue forces and medics are responding to reports of impacts in central Israel following Iran’s latest ballistic missile attack.

The missile fired at central Israel carried a cluster bomb warhead, according to the IDF.

Sirens also sounded in the Eilat area of southern Israel, although that missile, also carrying a cluster bomb, is assessed by the IDF to have struck an open area.

There are no immediate reports of injuries.
