Schools in northern border towns stay shut amid uptick in drone attacks from Lebanon
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleChildren in a number of communities along the northern border are home today after local leaders announced schools and kindergartens would remain shut until further notice amid an uptick in drone attacks from Lebanon.
The decisions were taken independently and without instruction to do so from the IDF Home Front Command, and studies have shifted to distance learning.
A senior US official indicated yesterday that Washington could soon greenlight a larger Israeli operation against Hezbollah in Lebanon. According to Al Jazeera, Iran has warned the US that any Israeli strike in Beirut will threaten negotiations to end the war and reach a regional settlement.
