Search ongoing for Israeli mother and daughter missing in Vienna: ‘The ground has swallowed them up’

Channel 12 reports that hundreds of people are aiding the search for Israelis Mali and Liel Yahalomi, a mother and daughter who went missing in Vienna on Friday.

A relative tells the network: “The ground has swallowed them up. Everyone is out searching for them, and there’s simply nothing. There are no leads whatsoever. We’re at a loss.”

Authorities currently do not have any leads on the disappearance of Mali, 50, and Liel, 23.

An unnamed Israeli official tells Ynet: “Everyone is out searching for them in an effort to locate them. Various parties are involved. They can’t be found anywhere. It doesn’t look good, but we hope they will be found safe and sound.”
