‘There is no Palestinian state’: Politicians across aisle slam Ra’am chief Abbas for saying Palestinian state is ‘reality’

Politicians from across the aisle in Israel slam Ra’am head MK Mansour Abbas for his statement earlier today that an “independent state of Palestine is a reality” that most of the world recognizes.

“As long as I am prime minister, a Palestinian state controlled by Iran will not be established” in Gaza or the West Bank, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says.

“The price of a left-wing coalition with the Muslim Brotherhood has been exposed once again,” he adds, referring to the Islamist roots of the Arab party, which was part of the last government that unseated Netanyahu in 2021, and which Netanyahu has reportedly also recruited to join his coalition.

“Listen to Mansour,” says National Security Minster Itamar Ben Gvir.

“This is his plan for the next government. To establish a state of terror,” the far-right minster says. “This must not be allowed to happen. We won’t let it happen!”

Yashar party chief and election frontrunner Gadi Eisenkot also rebukes Abbas: “There is no Palestinian state, and in the government we form, a Palestinian state will not be established.”
