US President Donald Trump slams far-right media personality Tucker Carlson as “a low IQ person” after the latter claimed that the US was taking steps toward nuclear war.
“Tucker’s a low IQ person that has absolutely no idea what’s going on,” the US president tells the New York Post in a phone call. “He calls me all the time; I don’t respond to his calls. I don’t deal with him. I like dealing with smart people, not fools.”
Carlson, who embraces conspiracy theories and antisemitic rhetoric, has millions of followers online and his online show receives more viewership than some broadcast news networks.
