Four Palestinians were reported wounded Friday afternoon in two separate incidents.

One man was said to have been severely wounded in a clash between Palestinians and IDF soldiers near the Gaza border fence. Two other men were moderately wounded in the incident, according to a report on the Ynet news website.

The IDF did not issue a statement corroborating the account, which came from medical sources inside the Gaza Strip.

In Kafr Qassem, an Israeli Arab town, a 26-year-old man was moderately wounded by gunfire. He was taken to the Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva for treatment.

Police have opened an investigation into the incident.
