AI-generated Ran Gvili asks Trump to ‘bring me home’ in new video clip

The family of Ran Gvili, the last hostage whose remains are still being held in Gaza, issues a plea from an AI-generated Gvili to US President Donald Trump in a new video clip.

The AI clip shows Gvili inside a Hamas tunnel in Gaza recounting his experiences on October 7, when the police officer was killed in action fighting the terror invasion.

“Thank you for standing with us and for making a courageous agreement that brought so many of my brothers and sisters home,” says the AI-generated Gvili, in a video circulated by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum.

“Mr. President, I’m asking you to see this through — I deserve the right to be buried with honor in the land I fought for,” he continues in the clip. “Mr. President, finish what you started, bring me home before it’s too late.”

Gvili’s mother, Talik, says in a statement that “seeing and hearing Rani speak in his own voice is moving and sad at the same time. I would have given everything to hear, see, and hug him again. But all I have left is to beg them not to move to phase two of the agreement before they bring Rani home to me, because heroes must not be left behind.”
