Break in rocket fire as operation starts
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAfter days of steady rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, the launches came to a sudden halt as IDF forces entered the northern Gaza Strip. The quiet lasted for three hours, until Palestinian terrorists fire rockets toward the city of Ofakim.
Commentators on Channel 2 report that the initial incursion likely caused Hamas fighters to take up defensive positions, but with time, they should manage to renew rocket fire, using timers and other methods.
