Court agrees to postpone start of Netanyahu’s testimony; PM asks for hearing to be canceled

The Jerusalem District Court agrees to delay the start of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s testimony in his corruption trial this morning.
Netanyahu requested that today’s testimony be cancelled due to the fact that he was dealing with security and diplomacy matters “until the late hours of the night,” and because he has a similarly busy schedule this morning.
The court agrees to delay the start of today’s hearing and says it will decide whether or not to cancel the entire hearing after it receives further details from the prime minister’s defense attorneys.
The court has repeatedly delayed Netanyahu’s testimony in recent months following the prime minister’s requests on the basis of pressing security and diplomatic concerns.
