Voters of parties currently in the Knesset opposition prefer that Yashar chairman Gadi Eisenkot over former prime minister and Together chair Naftali Bennett, according to a Channel 12 poll aired this evening.
According to the poll, 45% of respondents prefer Eisenkot compared to 36% who choose Bennett. Both figures are aiming to replace Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the upcoming elections.
Voters of all parties were separately asked their preference when Eisenkot and Bennett were separately pited against Netanyahu.
Netanyahu fared better against each of them, with 38% of respondents saying they preferred him, compared to 34% who said they preferred Eisenkot. Twenty-one percent said they preferred neither of them, and 7% said they don’t know.
Bennett fared slightly better than Eisenkot, but still only say 34% of respondents say they preferred the Together chairman as premeir, compared to 39% who preferred Netanyahu, while 21% said neither is suited and 6% who didn’t know.
