Erez attack targeted border crossing
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleMore details emerge on the mortar attack which earlier wounded several Israeli citizens.
Up to 11 mortar rounds landed near the Erez border crossing, which was closed as a result. Three people were injured, not five as had been previously reported. A car was hit by one of the rounds. In that incident, two people were seriously injured and one lightly. All were hospitalized.
All three of the injured were part of an Israeli-Arab family, who were at the crossing to pick up family members wounded in Gaza and bring them into Israel for medical treatment, Ynet News reports.
Another woman suffered from shock and received medical attention.
