Government minister David Amsalem released from hospital after minor heart attack

Regional Cooperation Minister David “Dudi” Amsalem suffered a minor heart attack last night, the Kan public broadcaster reports.
Amsalem, 65, was taken to Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center and then released this morning, the report says.
The hospital says that he suffered a “light heart incident” and “successfully underwent catheterization.”
In a statement, Amsalem’s office says the minister is resting at his home in good spirits, and “is continuing from there to fully manage and operate the activities of his office.”
