Hamas won’t back down, Haniyeh says
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleLeader of Hamas in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh gives a fiery taped television address in which he calls on Palestinians not to yield in the face of Israel’s military campaign.
Haniyeh says Gaza will fight Israel with its blood and that the group will not back down from its demands for a ceasefire.
“The massacres committed against innocent Palestinians make us want our freedom more, and we will stand by our demands,” he says.
