The IDF’s Home Front Command issues new instructions, in effect until Monday at 6 p.m.
For communities up to 7 kilometers from the border, gatherings of over 300 people are forbidden. Summer camps and daycare programs will only take place inside protected buildings. Stores and offices will be open.
For communities 7-40 kilometers from the border — which includes Ashkelon, Ashdod, and Beersheba — gatherings of over 500 people are banned. Summer camps and daycare centers will only be held inside protected buildings. Stores and offices will be open.
In communities such as Jerusalem, situated 40-80 kilometers from Gaza, outdoor gatherings of over 1,000 people are forbidden, but there are no other restrictions.
Public shelters are to be open from 0-80 kilometers from the Gaza Strip.
