IDF, police say weapons smuggling attempt thwarted on Jordanian border

The IDF and police say they foiled an attempt to smuggle dozens of firearms from Jordan into the West Bank, arresting a suspect in the process.
During operations on the border, forces located 23 handguns and four assault rifles. Also during the operation, a 20-year-old Palestinian from Bethlehem was detained on suspicion of involvement in the smuggling.
