Israeli man charged with inciting in support of ISIS, owning illegal weapon
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleProsecutors file charges against a resident of Lakiya, a Negev Bedouin town, accusing him of identifying with the Islamic State terror group and illegally possessing a firearm, police and the Shin Bet announce.
Operating off intelligence from the Shin Bet, police officers arrested Islam al-Sana several weeks ago on suspicion of sharing extremist content in support of ISIS and encouraging acts of terror.
During his interrogation, al-Sana handed over to investigators an M16 assault rifle he had possessed illegally, police add.
He is indicted today on charges of incitement to terrorism, expressing support for a terrorist group and weapons offenses.
