Israeli strikes in Gaza said to ramp up
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleReports claim that Israeli shelling of Gaza is intensifying, after the IDF said it would step up strikes to create the conditions needed for the next phase of the war, expected to be a ground-based offensive.
Reports in Hebrew-language media offer few details of the intensified bombardments. An Al Jazeera correspondent says the strikes are centered around the Nusseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, calling them “really terrifying.”
