After Israel struck Iranian targets in Syria this week following Iranian rocket fire on the Golan Heights, Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman tells Syrian President Bashar Assad to boot his patron Iran out of the country.

“Get rid of the Iranians. Get rid of Qassem Soleimani and the Quds Force. They don’t help but only hurt you,” he says during a tour of the Golan heights town of Katzrin.

Liberman also warns that the fight against Iran in Syria may not be over despite the extensive damage to Iranian military assets in the Israeli raids.

“There is nothing like the sin of hubris, there is no room for arrogance,” he says. “Everything needs to be taken in the right proportion.”
