More troops could be called up, Ya’alon says
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleDefense Minister Moshe Ya’alon meets with the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Monday morning.
He says that since Iron Dome has “almost entirely neutralized” the threat of rockets, the “main effort” is currently focused on finding and demolishing tunnels.
He adds that a total of 2,700 targets have already been struck and that “if the need arises we will draft more combat forces from the reserves until we are able to bring quiet from the Gaza Strip.”
