Netanyahu calls for formation of emergency government to address coronavirus
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calls for the formation of an emergency government following a year-long political deadlock, citing the outbreak of the coronavirus in Israel.
“It would be an emergency government for a limited time, and we will fight together to save the lives of tens of thousands of citizens,” he says in remarks directed at his centrist rival Benny Gantz.
“We will deal with the current crisis together and continue later,” Netanyahu adds.
