No plan to reoccupy Gaza, IDF says
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIDF Spokesman Moti Almoz stresses that the purpose of the operation in Gaza is to destroy the Hamas tunnels that are being used to launch attack on Israelis, and that reoccupation of the Strip is not on the table, Ynet reports.
Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman has called for the re-occupation of Gaza in order to oust Hamas from power there.
