From Obama: Important to give Israelis, Palestinians hope
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleMeeting today with Jordan’s King Abdullah at the White House, President Barack Obama says it is vital that both Israelis and Palestinians are given a sense of optimism about the future.
“We continue to agree that it’s important for us to provide both sides a sense of possibility and hope, and not simply despair,” Obama says, after the two leaders discuss steps to reduce tensions between Israel and Palestinians.
